We were approached for a sell-side valuation by a Singapore-based ExamTech firm that delivers handwritten paperless digital exams, ahead of their pre-series B funding round.

Our Approach

Outcome

Beyond the DCF and the comps, we provided validation to the investors by graphing the correlation between revenue growth and transaction multiple of the target vis-à-vis other similar-stage Edtechs.

Furthermore, we used KPIs such as CAC, LTV and stickiness ratio to assess the quality of the projected earnings.

The client was able to confidently negotiate with investors during the fund-raising process on the basis of our research-backed valuation.
