We were asked to value an upcoming entertainment business aimed at providing an elegant dinner theatre experience to residents and tourists in the UAE.

Our Approach

Outcome

We worked closely with the founders - theatre specialists of repute - to determine the relevant performance metrics such as revenue per table and occupancy rate (as adjusted for seasonality), crew per table, customer acquisition costs and break-even analysis. While the valuation was largely based on the founders’ detailed business plan, their experience and eminence lent credibility to the business assumptions.

Using primary and secondary research, we benchmarked these ratios to their more mature western counterparts, adjusting for region-specific variables to provide validation to potential investors on the unit economics.

Our research-backed detailed valuation report enabled the client to confidently communicate with prospective investors.
