We were engaged by a renowned oil & gas service provider in Oman to value one of its suppliers, a specialized equipment rental and manpower supply firm.

Outcome

Conducting a thorough analysis of revenue streams and customer orders, we identified the contributions of revenue, cashflows, and margins from our client. This involved scrutinizing trial balances to prepare two sets of financial statements. The business, excluding our client’s contribution, underwent benchmarking against industry peers to normalize financials and assess performance. Adjustments were made for the company's brand distinction and superior positioning, factors contributing to winning long-term contracts.

The comprehensive analysis of qualitative and quantitative elements influencing the business were captured in the valuation process. We successfully provided our client with a valuation range to guide negotiations.
