Assignment

One of the leading family offices in UAE approached us for valuing an acquisition target in the car parking business. The target designs and manages carparking spaces, both on-street and off-street, across cities.

Our Approach

Outcome

Carparking cashflows rely heavily on signing up and renewing concessions and contracts, as also the duration of these contracts. Thus, we articulated the contracts separately and evaluated the risks and rewards associated to each renewal.

Our valuation also factored a probabilistic model of winning bids using the company’s historical hit rate.

The contract-by-contract assessment of cashflows enabled our Client, the investor, to appraise the range of outcomes and formulate lower and upper value boundaries.
